1. PayPal |

PayPal is probably the most widely known system of electronic payments and one of the first to establish. For that reason it is a very popular system, widely accepted by many countries around the world, and which is mainly used for commercial transactions but you can also see it at several auction sites (i.e. ebay). When it comes to casino sites, it is not very likely to see PayPal among the accepted means of payment too often but not impossible, there was a number of instances we ran into it at some of the casinos we visited.
The first thing you have to do in order to use PayPal as a means of electronic transactions over the internet is of course to create an account. |
The procedure that needs to be carried out in order to create an account is rather quick and won't frustrate you. The default account initially created is a personal account, which has serveral limitations in capabilities and sums of funds allowed to be transferred withing a certain time period. It is more than certain that you will upgrade it sooner or later. The upgrade options that you have are the business account and the premier account. The sole difference between the two is that if you have a premier account you can give access to it to other persons as well. In the vast majority of cases, this is not a desirable feature and consequently, most of you will upgrade to a business account.
Having created your account, you can use it either to send a payment somewhere, or to receive a payment from another user. Sending/receiving payments is very easy to do, all you need is the email of the receiver, while payment processing takes place immediately. Another useful feature is that you you have the ability to accept credit card payments through PayPal, something very useful in the case you have a private business.
Commission levels are reasonable, but of course this is rather subjective so we would advise you to take a look at the corresponding page in order to avoid surprises. A superb electronic payment system that supports 10 E.U. languages for even more convenience.
